WELD COUNTY, Colo. – A woman and a toddler were killed in a two-vehicle collision in Weld County Monday morning, according to a spokesperson with the Colorado State Patrol.

The crash between a semi and a 2006 Toyota Sedan happened on Weld County Road 74 between County Road 47 and County Road 49 around 10 a.m., the spokesperson said.

A woman driving the Toyota was killed. She was only identified as being 20 years old. A 1-year-old toddler inside that car was also killed.

The spokesperson could not say how the two were related, if at all.

A 64-year-old man who was driving the semi did not suffer any injuries from the crash.

It’s unclear if the driver of the semi will face any charges in connection with the fatal crash.
