WELD COUNTY, Colo. -- Investigators are trying to determine what caused a coal train to derail in Weld County.
Approximately 25 coal cars derailed at Highways 392 and 85, near Lucerne, Wednesday at 11 p.m.
Some of the cars overturned, spilling their cargo, according to the Weld County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said no one was hurt, but one structure was damaged.

Union Pacific Railroad crews from Denver and Utah will investigate the derailment, deputies said. The train was traveling from Antelope Hills, Wyo. and was traveling to Drake, Colo., according to Raquel Espinoza, a spokesperson for Union Pacific.
Highway 392 was closed for several hours. Cleanup efforts were still underway Thursday evening, officials said.
