ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. -- An 83-year old woman was in serious condition after an unattended vehicle rolled over her moments after pulling into a 7-Eleven parking lot in Adams County on Saturday evening, according to the State Patrol.
The accident happened about 7:15 p.m. on Devonshire Boulevard after a driver left the car. The victim, Judith Warren, “walked behind the car,” Trooper Tim Sutherland said Sunday.
The vehicle rolled over Warren “and came to rest against her,” Sutherland said.
The driver might have forgotten to put the car in park, he said.
Sutherland said no information was available about the driver
