PARKER, Colo. – The Parker Days Festival is back for another year of shows, carnival rides, a parade, good food, concerts and more.

Here’s what you need to know if you’re planning to go:

Getting to the Parker Days Festival

The Parker Days Festival is taking place on Mainstreet in Parker, just 15 miles south of Denver.

Travel south from Denver on I-25 to Lincoln Avenue. From Castle Rock and Colorado Springs go north on I-25 to Lincoln Avenue. Then, travel east on Lincoln to Parke Road for about 6.2 miles and then south on Parker Road to Longs Way. You’ll ten turn left on Longs Way and then south on Longs Way.

Note: Long’s Way is closed from 7 a.m. to noon for the Parker Days Parade. To get to the festival, continue east across Parker Road on Lincoln Avenue and turn south/right on North Pine Drive. Continue to Mainstreet and turn west/right. Parking is accessible from this direction.

What about parking?

All access to parking spaces will be via Longs Way or Pine Drive. There will be several designated areas to park, so click here to find out more about available parking spaces.

Parking at outlying lots is free (Look for the green P’s on the link above). Closer lots have fees starting at $5 per day.

Parking for people with disabilities is available in the Parker Water Lot and the PACE Center.

How much will it cost to get in?

Entrance to the festival and concerts is free but carnival rides, food and drinks, as well as other events happening inside are available for a fee.

Single-Day Carnival tickets cost $35 (you can save $5 when you buy them online) and the Mega Carnival Pass costs $60 (this pass is available online only).

Food and drinks cost $1/per ticket and inflatables start at $3 per ride. Water balls are $10 per ride. There will be about 250 vendors at the event. 

What can I expect to see once inside?

Dips, whirls, drops, circles, spins, rightside up, upside down, mazes, fun houses and even haunted houses are just some of the attractions you’ll find at Parker Days Fest.

You must be at least 36 inches tall to ride the carnival rides. You won’t be allowed in if you’re under this height.

Note: Flip flops, bare feet and guests with casts will not be allowed on carnival rides.

Can I bring my dog in with me?

Yes, but just make sure your dog can handle crowds over 100,000 people. Dogs are now allowed in the Main Stage Area and Pikes Peak Stage Area.

Other general information:

The Parker Day Festival hours are as follows: Saturday, June 10 from 9 a.m. to midnight and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Carnival hours are from 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.

The festival, which was been running for the last 40 years, expects about 200,00 people to attend this year.
