Missing man in Northglenn has dementia

NORTHGLENN, Colo. -- Police are asking for the public's help to find a missing man with dementia who may be lost and confused.

Perry Yamashita, 69, grew up in the Northglenn area.

He lives in Las Vegas, but was visiting family in Northglenn on Monday night when walked away from a home and didn't come back.

Yamashita was last seen in the area of W. 104th Ave and Huron St.

"He is friendly with strangers and police officers, and often times asks people for directions," police said.

Yamashita is an Asian man. He's 5’09” and weighs 160 lbs. he has salt and pepper hair with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with a white sweater, blue jeans and tennis shoes.
