When a man wearing a mask and carrying a gun walked into a Subway, the employees didn't wait for something bad to happen, they ran.
"The employees retreated to the back of the store and called 911," according to Loveland Police.
Surveillance video from inside the restaurant shows the man brandishing his gun at the counter, pushing the cookie display and touching the register, but he left after just a few seconds inside.
The gunman was wearing dark clothing, sunglasses and a white mask. He's described as a white or Hispanic man, about 6 foot tall with a skinny build.
The attempted robbery happened at 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday.
