Flood repair work on U.S. Highway 34 along the Big Thompson Canyon will begin soon, but before closures are put in place, the Colorado Department of Transportation would like your input on the different options on how to complete the construction.
There are two options.
Option A, provide more daily access between Idylwilde and Cedar Cove and spread the work out over a longer period of time or option B, implement more stringent travel limits between Idylwilde and Cedar Cove that enable this work to be done in a shorter timeframe.
CDOT wants people who live, work, and travel through the area to weigh by Monday, May 2
