LONGMONT, Colo. -- It's happened twice already and it could happen again -- Longmont residents reported seeing a mountain lion twice on Wednesday, according to the Longmont Police Department.
Deputy Chief Jeff Satur told our partners at the Boulder Daily Camera the mountain lion was sighted at 4 p.m., then at about 4:30 p.m. about 10 blocks away from the first sighting.
Satur did not say exactly where the animal was last seen, as he does not want people going out looking for trouble. His advice if you spot it lurking about? Do not approach it and leave it alone.
No missing pets have been reported, Satur said.
