LONGMONT, Colo. -- Missing posters are starting to pop up around Longmont. But they're not for a person or a pet, but for a stuffed animal friend.

Ellie, 3, is missing 'Green Bear.' That's his name. He is approximately 6-inches tall and weighs about a half a pound.

He was last seen near the Longmont Target when the little girl went shopping with her dad a few days ago. The bear has been missing ever since.

"These little stuffed friends really mean a lot to them. They have their own little personalities and feelings. It's like losing a beast friend," the little girl's dad said.

The poster simply reads "Missing" with a picture of the toy. "Answers to Green Bear" is written below the photo.

The three year old owner actually had some theories on what happened to her little friend.

"Maybe they're sleeping with someone else. Maybe they're tired. And he slept in his own bed. Where his own blankie is," Ellie said.

If you come across 'Green Bear,' let us know by telling us of his whereabouts on our Facebook page. We can get him home to his loving owner.
