LONGMONT, Colo. -- Bike sharing services like Denver’s B-cycle may be pedaling into Longmont soon.
The Longmont City Council approved Tuesday night a potential bike-sharing program, the Longmont Times-Call reports.
The program is part of the Boulder County city’s comprehensive plan process and would cost the city $20,000 to set up two stations with five bikes each, the newspaper reported.
The goal is eventually to have 10 stations throughout Longmont. The program hopes to launch when the city secures the sponsorship for the 10 stations.
