BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. -- A long-time family farm is going out of business and auctioning off its remaining equipment this weekend.
Frank Tanaka started farming in Colorado after he immigrated from Japan in 1907, according to the Boulder Daily Camera.
The newspaper reported that after Frank's death in 1953, four of his sons grew the farm into one of the nation's largest family-owned vegetable farms on land in Boulder and Weld counties.
Over the years, the family got in and out of the farming business, but now they are selling their tractors, wagons, forklifts, loaders, trucks and their other equipment at an auction on Saturday, November 19 in Longmont.
