LITTLETON, Colo. – The Arapahoe County Plaza building was evacuated and all court and county services were canceled for the rest of the day as crews worked to repair a gas leak in Littleton Wednesday afternoon.

Travelers wanting to get home during rush hour also encountered some traffic headaches due to several street closures where the gas leak was reported by Littleton Fire Rescue just before 2:30 p.m. under Windereme St. on the south side of Littleton Blvd.

Littleton Blvd. was closed eastbound between Winderemere and Crocker and in both directions on Winderemere between Power to Lilley, City of Littleton officials said.

The gas leak was repaired about two hours later.
