LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- It has been over two weeks since a major hail storm hit the Denver metro area, yet one mom and pop auto dealer business owner is still fighting with her insurance to get a claim filed.
“In the last two weeks we’ve sold one car, and if you know any dealer, you can’t survive on selling one car in two weeks,” said A&B General manager, Dareen Mustapha.
Mustapha discovered her United Specialty Insurance Company canceled the business’ coverage without notification despite cashing in her payments.
Denver7 stepped in to help. Trying out six different numbers to track down the insurance company, we finally got a hold of a representative. The representative told Denver7 they are now working on helping resolve the issue.
