LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- Crews were working a rescue after a hang glider crashed on steep terrain on Green Mountain late Friday night.
West Metro Fire Rescue officials said crews were on scene of the west side of Green Mountain carrying out a high angle rope rescue at around 10 p.m.
The hang glider reportedly called 911 after the crash at around 8:30 p.m. and told dispatchers he was down.
