FREDERICK, Colo. -- A pedestrian was hit and killed on the I-25 Frontage Road near State Highway 52.
The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. Friday. on the west side of I-25.
The Colorado State Patrol said the victim died at the scene, but investigators haven't yet determined why the victim was on the road.
The driver who hit the pedestrian stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities, CSP said.
