Police looking for man who punched, robbed woman

Fort Collins Police are looking for a man who broke into a woman's home, hit her and stole her purse.

The victim told police she was in the backyard of her home on Swallow Road, near College Avenue, at 8 a.m. this morning. The woman said when she walked back into her home, she saw a man she didn't know entering her home.

The woman said the man punched her in the face, grabbed her purse and ran off.

The woman told police she had her rent money in her purse.

The victim said the man was 5 foot 9 inches tall, weighed about 170 pounds, was late 20s in age, and brown-skinned with no facial hair. The man was was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, red beanie, black gloves, and dark pants.
