FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- A woman riding her bike Thursday night was seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Fort Collins.

Emily Clark, 26, was riding on Mulberry Street, between Riverside and Lemay avenues, at 11:22 p.m. when she was hit by a car.

Police said they found Clark lying in the left lane of eastbound Mulberry Street. Witnesses said the driver left the scene.

Clark was taken to Medical Center of the Rockies for treatment.

A short time later, deputies with the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a suspicious vehicle near the intersection of Mulberry Street and Greenfield Court, police said.

Deputies said they found a 2013 Kia Rio with "collision damage."

The driver of the Kia, Kenneth LeJeune, 31, was questioned and charges are pending, police said.

Investigators said they believe alcohol and/or drugs contributed to the collision.

If you saw the collision, please call Officer Drew Jurkofsky at 970-416-2224.
