The administration strongly discouraged students at Colorado State University from participating in an undies run, but they showed up by the thousands to do it anyway.
Friday night proved to be a wild one on campus, with thousands of scantily clad students running in their underwear. The students said the event was all in good fun, a chance to celebrate the end of the school year.
CSU warned students not to take part, but said in a statement after the event:
CSUPD has no reports of serious incidents. Students took to heart the university's concern and message. We commend those who acted respectfully.
The "Undie Run," or BARE, normally takes place the weekend before spring finals.
