FORT COLLINS, Colo. — A newly-released affidavit reveals chilling details in a child-abuse case in Fort Collins.

A babysitter arrested for attempted murder allegedly threw the infant he was watching because the baby crawled near a Playstation console and pulled a cord, according to the affidavit.

Caleb Collins, 24, called police on June 30 and said he accidentally dropped a seven-month-old child. He was arrested in July on suspicion of attempted murder.

Police say the injuries the baby received were so severe, the child will likely never see, hear, or have purposeful movement.
