DENVER -- The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1 and Boots 66 held a free Thanksgiving meal for the homeless and needy veterans, prepared and served by veterans.

Denver Army vet Porfirio Aragon started the event four years ago. He passed away last year but his wife continued his legacy.

“It means a lot. I’m very thankful for the people who do this for us,” said Vietnam Vet, Ron Miller.
