A baby otter rescued near a gas station in Florida has found a new permanent home at the Denver Downtown Aquarium.

The Denver Post reports the North American river otter named Oliver arrived at the aquarium over the weekend via a FedEx jet.

He had been found at the gas station earlier this month and was taken to a Tampa wildlife rescue. Employees at the rescue had found it would be too dangerous to return the otter to the wild because he had become too accustomed to human interaction.

Oliver will now join two other otters at the Denver aquarium.

Aquarium staff plans to work with Oliver so that he will be able to interact with guests, allowing them to learn more about the threatened river otter species.
