The lockdown at Montbello Campus has been lifted after no weapons were found at the school, an official with the Denver Police Department said Friday afternoon.
A Denver Public School official also tweeted more information about the lockdown would be sent home to parents.

Police received reports of possible weapons on campus at 1:27 p.m., according to DPS spokesperson Will Jones. Several Denver Police vehicles were dispatched to the high school, located on Crown Boulevard and 51st Avenue. The scene was given the all-clear an hour later, at 2:32 p.m.
The campus houses three separate schools:
- STRIVE Prep Montbello Middle School
- Noel Community Arts School
- Denver Center for International Studies at Montbello
