Girl asks for help finding Grandpa's killer; Lester Easterday attacked near 13th and Marion

DENVER -- A young woman has posted a message on Craigslist asking for help finding her grandfather's killer.

Lester Easterday was found in the area of 13th Avenue and Marion Street last Tuesday at about 7:30 p.m. Denver Police said Easterday had multiple sharp force injuries.

Officers said Easterday was taken to Denver Health Medical Center, but he didn't survive.

Easterday's granddaughter turned to Craigslist for help.

"He was 77 yrs old, a vet," the woman wrote. "I can't sleep. I'm in shock."

The woman said she's sad and hurt and she didn't get Thanksgiving with him.
