DENVER – If you’re planning on tying the knot but are worried about how much it’ll end up costing you, we’ve got some good news.
The City of Denver’s Office of the Clerk and Recorder will offer free wedding ceremonies this Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Several judges and clergy have volunteered to marry couples, and there will be plenty of food to go around.
Newly weds can also enter a drawing for wedding gifts from local businesses, elected officials and other city agencies.
Couples are encouraged to fill out a marriage license application online before arriving to the offices on Valentine’s Day.
The Denver Officer of the Clerk and Recorder is located inside at the Webb Building on 201 West Colfax Avenue, Department 101.
