Posted

Former Colorado Governor Bill Owens has joined the Greenberg Traurig law firm.

Owens will work in the Denver office as senior director in the Government Law & Policy Practice where he will advise and assist clients on capital and infrastructure projects as well as public policy matters, the law firm said.

"Governor Owens’ experience working in the public and private sectors greatly enhances our ability to advise clients who are increasingly involved in such matters," said David G. Palmer, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Denver office.

Owens served two terms as Governor of Colorado. He is presently on the Boards of several NYSE-listed companies and has been on the Boards of two companies prior to their public IPO, according to Greenberg Traurig.

Greenberg Traurig has 38 offices in the United States, Latin America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The Denver office has more than 50 lawyers.
