The Colorado Department of Transportation has reopened the eastbound side of the 20th Street Bridge after emergency bridge work.
CDOT said crews were working on a damaged expansion joint.
The closure affected drivers going to into downtown Denver for events, including the Colorado Avalanche/Detroit Red Wing alumni game at Coors Field.
