Dress for Success inspires at-risk women to reach their full potential

DENVER — A local organization is inspiring thousands of at-risk women to reach their full potential through career and professional clothing programs here in Denver.

Since 2006, Dress for Success has provided 12,000 women in Denver with job readiness tools, professional attire and post-employment support to assist them in their efforts to achieve economic self-sufficiency.

Dress for Success collaborates with more than 200 local partners that connect women to programs and services, including domestic abuse shelters, halfway houses, homeless shelters and county workforce centers.

Dress for Success offers the programs below to clients:

Professional Clothing Program: Offers quality professional clothing and accessories at no cost to at-risk women who have completed job readiness programs and are entering or returning to the workforce.

Career Center Program: Provides women with one-on-one pre-employment coaching to develop resumes, cover letters and opportunities to participate in mock interviewing sessions.
