DENVER — Denver Police say a man hit by two cars on 6th Avenue is hospitalized after he fell from a truck he tried to steal.
The barefooted man was on the busy freeway near Federal Boulevard for an unknown reason Friday morning when an eastbound car struck him. Police said he then crossed the median and was hit again, this time by a westbound vehicle.
After being hit a second time, he climbed onto the bed of a passing truck and attempted to carjack the driver by knocking on the driver's side window, police said.
