A construction worker had to be rescued from 20-foot hole Monday morning in downtown Denver.
The worker was standing in the hole at Lincoln Street and 18th Avenue when part of the bottom of the hole gave way, according to Denver Fire.
The man fell about two feet and tweaked his back.
Melissa Reeves with the Denver Fire Department said the high angle rescue team specializes in high angle and below ground level rescues so the team was called in to rescue the man.
The worker was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
