A gun store was burglarized early Wednesday morning in Littleton -- it's the second gun store to be burglarized in the Denver metro area in two days.
On Tuesday, burglars forced their way into the Colorado Gun Broker on Bowles Avenue in Littleton around 3:45 a.m., according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. They stole about 30 hand guns.
On Wednesday, a burglar, or burglars, hit the Triple J Armory in Littleton around 2 a.m., the owner told Denver7. It is estimated the burglar or burglars stole between 20 to 30 firearms, most of them handguns and a few rifles.
It appears numerous guns were stolen, but the owner said he is still doing inventory to determine what's missing.
Minutes later, deputies spotted a white van that may be tied to the burglary.
Deputies gave chase, but lost the van.
About 30 minutes later, a white van crashed into two parked vehicles in the 1100 block of south Pecos in Denver.
Crime scene investigators are going over the van, police said.
