The driver accused of crashing into the Colorado Convention Center was mumbling, slurring his speech, swaying, his eyes were bloodshot and his breath had the strong odor of alcohol, according to probable cause statement obtained by Denver7 Investigates.

Randolph Blazon, 25, was arrested for investigation of driving under the influence and two counts of careless driving resulting in injury, police said.

Witnesses said the driver of a truck was going westbound on California, blew right through the intersection, jumped the curb and crashed through the glass doors of the convention center.

One woman's foot was run over, Denver7's Molly Hendrickson reported. That woman was put in a wheelchair and taken to the hospital.

A couple other people were hit by debris. One other victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance, Henderson said.
