A new petition on Change.org seeks to stop more people from moving to Colorado.
The petition was posted by a user called "The City of Denver."
"We are sick and tired of everyone flooding into our beautiful state and destroying it," the creator of the petition states.

The author claims to be a fourth-generation native of Colorado and states that "traffic is becoming unbearable."
"[My] normal 20 minute drive to work now takes me almost 2 hours every morning," the petition states.
The author argues that "inconsiderate transplants" are destroying the state.
"Several of our most beautiful destinations have been ruined," the author writes. "Hanging Lake recently had to close down due to so much garbage on the trail."
The author says the situation is "out of control" and calls on the governor to do something about it.
"Gov. John Hickenlooper it is time for you to show us that you really care about Colorado and stop all of these transplants from invading our state," the author writes.
As of 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, just over 350 people had signed the petition.
The author has also posted petitions asking to change the name of the Denver Broncos' stadium back to Mile High and to "Remove Drew Soicher from covering The Broncos on 9news."
