Denver police are looking for the person who stole an SUV, crashing it into a neighboring garage during the getaway.
The owner of a green Toyota Land Cruiser noticed a man inside his vehicle in the 1200 block of West Ohio Avenue on Saturday around noon. The owner confronted the man and there was a short struggle, according to Denver Police Department spokesman Doug Schepman.
The man was dragged a short distance as the thief took off in the SUV. As the suspect fled the scene, he crashed into a garage at 1201 West Alys Place. No one was injured when the garage was struck, according to a tweet from the Denver Fire Department.
