DENVER -- Denver Fire Department officials say the driver of a bulldozer that plowed into a Green Valley Ranch home Friday afternoon suffered a medical emergency before the crash leveled much of the home.

Investigators say a coworker of the driver had to shut the bulldozer down and get him out of the vehicle.

Police said the incident happened just after 12 p.m. at East 47th Avenue and Ventura Street, just south of Green Valley Ranch Boulevard.

The bulldozer traveled 100 yards before it crashed into the home, according to Denver Fire Captain Greg Pixley.

Denver Fire officials released images of the giant dozer parked in the debris-filled dining room of the home.

Fire officials said on Twitter, "Driver of dozer treated for minor injuries. No injuries to residents. Dozer has been removed. House condemned."

Officials didn't have immediate information on how the collision happened. AIRTRACKER7's camera show the track marks of the dozer's path from a nearby construction site, through a fence and deep into the home.
