DENVER — At least one person died from exposure to the dangerously cold temperatures, the City of Denver confirmed.

City officials told Denver7 one outdoor fatality related to environmental exposure was reported Thursday.

The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner will determine the final cause and manner of death, which could take between six and eight weeks.

The city could not provide further details.
