DENVER -- Five students on a Denver school bus involved in a three-vehicle crash were hospitalized with non-serious injuries. The driver of a second vehicle involved also sustained minor injuries.
Police got the call around 4 p.m. Friday and rushed to the scene on Fox Street near West 39th Avenue.
Police say two cars collided at an intersection, causing one of the vehicles to careen into the side of the passing school bus.
The Denver Public School bus sustained damage to its side and another vehicle had substantial damage to its front-end.
The students on the bus were coming from Denver Montessori. The five injured students were released from the hospital.
