DENVER -- Two men are recovering after they were shot early Sunday in east Denver, authorities said.
Officers responded to a call of shots fired at 18th and Franklin at around 1:30 a.m.
When police got to the scene, they found both a man who had been shot in the leg and another who was shot in the thigh. They were taken to a hospital and were listed as stable.
Police are investigating what led up to the shooting, but they do not think they shot each other.
No suspect information was available.
