DENVER -- One person was seriously injured after an assault in broad daylight just a few blocks away from Coors Field.
Denver Police Department officers were at the scene of the assault in the area of Broadway and Curtis at around 5 p.m. Saturday.
Police said the suspect was a black male, measuring 5-feet-11 and weighing around 180 pounds.
