DENVER -- One man is hospitalized and two drivers, including an Uber driver, escaped injury when multiple bullets were fired Friday morning.
The shooting happened at about 4 a.m. at 28th and Welton.
Denver police said they were alerted to the shooting by a ShotSpotter device.
Witnesses said 20 to 30 shots were fired. So many shots were reportedly fired that witnesses said it sounded like firecrackers.
The man who was shot was hit in the leg. Police said the man's injury is not life-threatening.
The Uber driver's vehicle was hit twice, but the driver, and a passenger, were not hurt.

A second driver had three rounds go through her vehicle, but she was not injured.
Police said they are looking for a black, 4-door sedan.
