The Castle Rock Town Council on Tuesday is expected to set a date for the mayor's recall election.
Mayor Paul Donahue is facing a recall over growth concerns.
A group called Castle Rock Citizens' for Responsible Development is concerned about the increase in new developments.
Donahue says the town has a plan to properly manage growth for years to come.
Castle Rock Citizens' for Responsible Development filed a petition at the end of March to have the mayor and two elected officials removed from their positions.
The meeting starts at 6 p.m. A public hearing is scheduled for 7:45 p.m.
Donahue will continue to serve in office during the recall process. His term will expire in November 2016.
