A high school student riding her bike to class skid on a patch of ice before a car hit her.
It happened just after 7 a.m. Monday in Broomfield, at Main Street and Miramonte Boulevard.
The girl's bicycle ended up underneath the car. Paramedics took her to the hospital but she was conscious and breathing.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene. Police haven't said if any charges will be filed.
Some traffic is blocked on Main.
