Eight children were hurt when a bouncy house collapsed at Henderson Elementary in Brighton Friday.
The children were inside the bouncy house when it collapsed, according to Natalie Ridderbos with Brighton Fire.
None of the children were seriously hurt and their parents have been notified, Ridderbos said.
"The principal says he and several fathers saw it start to collapse and lean over, so they ran and held it up so the kids could get out," said Ridderbos.
School officials told Denver7 that Brighton firefighters were already on scene, spraying down kids with a hose as part of field day festivities.
Paramedics were called, but officials said the children only suffered bumps and bruises.
The National Weather Service said gusts of up to 16 mph were possible in Brighton today.
The cause of the collapse has not been determined, yet.
"We've heard it could it have been wind. We've heard it could have been too many kids. We're still investigating at this point," said Kevin Denke, a spokesman for Brighton 27J school district.
