BOULDER, Colo. (AP) -- A mural is getting a permanent home thanks to fundraisers who collected $126,000 to preserve what many consider historic public art.

The Daily Camera reports the mural is a Coca-Cola advertisement.

Lafayette Urban Renewal Authority chairwoman Sally Martin said donations came from 62 businesses and residents.

A mural dedication is set for Dec. 3.
