The victim of a Friday morning shooting at a North Boulder mobile home park has died, according to a Boulder County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.
Investigators say they received multiple 911 calls from the Ponderosa mobile home park, in the area of Violet Avenue and Broadway, at around 8:15 a.m.
The male victim was immediately taken to a hospital but died minutes later, said Boulder County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Heidi Prentup. She said he was shot multiple times and found on the ground outside a trailer.
Prentup said sheriff's investigators are questioning a man and a woman as part of the investigation. She said while no arrests have been made yet, authorities believe everyone involved in the shooting has been accounted for.
A neighbor said she knows the man who was taken into custody, and believes the man killed may have been his roommate.
Shining Mountain Waldorf School was placed on lockout as a precaution and residents were also told to remain inside their homes as police investigated the scene. The lockout was lifted a few hours later.
The investigation is ongoing and deputies encourage people to avoid the area as they continue to go over the crime scene.
