A truck driver was ticketed for suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing into a barrier and getting stuck under a bridge on Interstate 225 Friday morning.
It happened on the northbound side of I-225 near Alameda around 2:45 a.m. The truck was removed and all lanes of NB I-225 opened at 7:05 a.m.
The man was driving a rental truck for Amazon when he crashed, Aurora Police said.
Aurora Police say the truck hit a light pole, a road sign, exited the roadway and got stuck between the jersey barrier and the bridge support.
It took several tow trucks and the Aurora Fire Department's heavy rescue unit to get the truck off the barrier.
