A suspect is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Aurora on Wednesday morning.
Aurora police tweeted that there was an armed carjacking, a chase, the suspect's vehicle spun out and shots were fired.
Police said the suspect is dead, but the officers involved in the shooting are OK.
Sources told Denver7 the chase started at 11:55 Tuesday night near Chambers Road and Colfax Avenue. The chase ended about 15 miles away near E-470 and Aurora Parkway on a dead-end road.
Sources said the suspect got out of the car, pulled a gun on four officers and the officers returned fire.
Aurora police told Denver7 two adult females were detained, but they didn't release any other information about the women.
