Sable Boulevard is closed between Alameda and Exposition avenues.
The closure is to allow construction crews more time to finish paving work in the area.
The closure started July 5 and will be in place for a couple of weeks, according to the city of Aurora.
The city has put in the place the following detours:
- Motorists travelling northbound on Sable Boulevard from Mississippi Avenue must go eastbound or westbound on Exposition Avenue
- Motorists travelling southbound on Sable Boulevard from Ellsworth Avenue must go eastbound or westbound on Alameda Avenue
Access to Town Center at Aurora is available from Alameda Avenue, Abilene Street, or Exposition Avenue. Centrepoint and the Sable Transfer Center will remain open.
