AURORA, Colo. — Two people shot and killed in Aurora last week have been identified, officials said Tuesday.

Crystal Black, 36, and Moses John Hamm, 44, were killed in a double shooting in the 1500 block of Beeler Street on July 7, according to Adams County coroner's office.

Their cause and manner of death were still under investigation Tuesday.

At 12:12 a.m. on July 7, officers with the Aurora Police Department responded to the area of E. Colfax Avenue and N. Beeler Street after receiving reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found two people — a woman in her mid 30s and a man, police said. Both had been shot. The woman was deceased. The man was transported to a hospital, where he died, police said.

Police were still investigating what led up to the shooting. The suspect, Master Titus Uriah Martin, 20, has not been located, police said Tuesday.

Martin is also a suspect in a nearby shooting that happened two days before the July 7 killings, police have said. A 31-year-old man died in the July 5 shooting.
