Aurora police are asking for the public's help to find a minivan that was in the area where a woman was attacked Sunday night.

Chelsea Marie Yasser, 21,  was found at 10 p.m. with life-threatening injuries in the parking lot at 1200 South Abilene Street, near Mississippi Avenue. That's just outside the Burlington Coat Factory.

Yasser was taken to the hospital, but she died.

Aurora police said the Major Crimes/Homicide Unit is looking to identify and find a vehicle that was spotted on surveillance video in the area.

"The occupants may be witnesses or have information related to this homicide," police wrote on YouTube.

Investigations believe the van is either dark red, or maroon, but they don't know the make or model.

If you have information about the vehicle, or the homicide, call Major Crimes Unit Sergeant Fyles at (303) 739-6041 or Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). Tipsters to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
