AURORA, Colo. – A man died at a hospital Monday after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash in East Aurora, police said.
The man was driving a pickup truck in the area of E. 4th Place and N. Harvest Road when he was ejected from the vehicle following a crash with an SUV.
Initial findings show the pickup was going southbound on Harvest Rd. when the SUV pulled into his path, causing the pickup to swerve and rollover, ejecting the driver.
He was taken to University Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Police said it was not immediately known who was at fault in the crash, but the SUV driver is cooperating with authorities. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors at this time, police said.
The man’s identity will not be released until his family is notified.
The Aurora Police Traffic Investigations unit is investigating the circumstances that led to the crash.
